Bafta Cymru is an annual event that takes place in St David’s Hall, Cardiff – their brief is simple. They require effective communication throughout the event.
With coverage required for vehicles around Cardiff City Centre, leading up to the red carpet and throughout St David’s Hall, a number of range tests have been carried out to ensure complete two way radio coverage is achievable.
The two way radio equipment must be discrete, lightweight, suitable for evening wear, and last throughout build up, the event and break down! It must look professional, be clean and all hand portables must be numbered.
We supply the Motorola DP4400e hand portable, programmed in digital mode. The system also requires a Motorola SLR5500 repeater to give wide area coverage.
